I have just got round to reading this Substack, Bev. A powerful, important letter and no response from any councillors at all? Well done on trying again, Bev.

Was the Chief Executive, Stephen Moir, included? Could perhaps a delegation from the WRN submit a question for this to be responded to formally at a council meeting? Or all WRN groups members submit copies to their local councillors and demand a meeting to discuss it?

Hi Helen

Thank you for your comment. No response at all, other than emailed acknowledgement of receipt from some councillors and 'out of office' by others. I imagine they spoke about it among themselves and maybe those who had the original letter from CambsWomen (in the links below) and decided as a collective they would ignore it.

Moir was not included in either letter as he would not be expected to respond and would just pass it down to the relevant department.

There is nothing to stop any individual from tackling their own County councillors. As a constituent you can ask for a meeting, though your MP or councillor is not obliged to meet you, or agree with your point.
